As depressing as it often is, I love this blog.

I think I recognize a donut shop that was (still is?) located on Fenton rd. and right behind it is a halfway house or something that helps out those who aren't in a position to help themselves.
I was only there once. With a buddy of mine right after the implosion of the IMA.

We need to fix thing up for the home less, where there would be shelter and get on there feet to unjoy life. Instead of all ways taring done this building and that or there just setting there. The money for demilition put for use.

problem with leaving the buildings and houses where they are is that those neighborhoods staying there in disrepair is that the city has to pay for the upkeep. Just like in Detroit. By getting rid of neighborhoods, the city can actually save money in the future.
WOW......and this is why i took my wife and 2 young children and left...no ran away from....Flint.
What used to be such a promising city in MI. now looks like an old west ghost town only worse!! And my sister in-law lived right next door to the used to be donut shop on Fenton Rd. When i see these pics i miss what flint used to be but at the same time i thank God for San Antonio!!
